About us
Audiovisual production excellence, taught by people who do it
joltyra is an informative resource and course for crews, producers and engineers who want to run broadcast studios and live events with calm, consistent quality.
OUR STORY
Built from years in galleries, studios and outside broadcast trucks
joltyra began as a set of internal training notes shared between colleagues working on television and live event productions across the UK. Those notes grew into a structured course that explains how a modern production is designed, lit, shot, mixed and delivered.
Today we teach studio designers, camera operators, lighting crew, sound engineers and producers side by side, because great programmes are made when every department understands the others.

Principles behind every module
We keep the course practical, safe and honest about how television and live events really work.
Craft before gear
Equipment changes every year. We teach the principles of light, sound and timing that stay useful.
Real studios, real pressure
Every module is built around tasks that mirror a live gallery, including the unexpected faults.
Clear workflows
Checklists, rundowns and clean communication reduce mistakes and make crews faster.
Safe sets
Rigging, power and cable discipline are taught from day one, not as an afterthought.
